These colorful murals were created in collaboration with my twin sister, Grace, while working as summer interns at MillHouse McKinney. MillHouse is an all-women, art and photography-centered, co-working space. We were given complete freedom to design and paint the murals to encompass the feel of the MillHouse environment. In addition to the two large murals, we were also directed to create a set of three smaller chalk-paint murals (not pictured). With these projects, I learned a lot about capturing the feel of a space and conveying it in a design. We spoke with many members at MillHouse before creating our final designs to get feedback and hear how they felt about the space.
